Question: How can I transfer settings of an old card to a new one?
Question: How can I refresh the settings of an existing card or delete a removed or unused card/node?
Answer: Link: follow the instructions on this page.
* Install the Card in a physical free slot in the Rack.
* Power On the Rack and wait while its booted up completely.
* Go to the webpage of the rack and navigate to: System Configuration → MambaNet Node Overview.
* Here you will see all the Active(blue) and Inactive(grey) nodes of the system.
* Look for the grey node which was your old (and now physically out of the system) card (Green in the example picture, Red will be the new one).
* If you have found the old node, click with the mouse on the last part of the Unique ID (Blue in the example picture).
This last part of the Unique ID is the Hex value of the Decimal number written on the back of the card.
* A selection box will open an you now can choose from a list of Active (physical available in the system) cards (Red in the first example picture).
* Select the one which is inserted (it should be only one actually , assuming there is one card inserted).
* And click on Save.
* The configuration of the old card is now applied to the NEW installed card.
* Without doing this procedure the new installed card isn't configured and will do NOTHING!
* Another option is to manually configure the card.. but this is an easy way to re-use the old configuration and
apply it to the new / other installed CRM card.
* This procedure can be used for all types of cards in the rack!.
When you press on the X icon (In red at the example picture) at the end of a greyed out card / node the Axum will delete everything related to this card.
Be carefull that you only delete card or nodes that you're not going to use again, when you will use it again you'll have to reconfigure everything for this card again!
Cleaning up unused cards or nodes will help to run more stable.
By clicking on the two arrow icon the Axum system will reload the existing settings of the card (Green in the example picture.).
Renewing will help to renew the axum his database when you cleaned up unused cards or nodes.
